 We live in a wonderful Ponderosa Pine forest called the "Black Forest", 25 miles Northeast of Colorado Springs, CO.  There are so many trees here that it's hard to see much except pine trees. You might see our rammed-earth, used tire-built house, with berms and solar glass wall on the south side, but not from the road.

 Join us here, where we chop wood (and stack it, not much tho, cuz we hardly ever need a fire), and carry water .. (to the llamas, 25-35 at any given time, and 3 Nubian dairy goats), because the pipes froze, and the hoses are too. There's also the three dogs, and two cats. Ya see, all our kids grew up, and ... ahhh, buzzzz...there's those amazing bees, who give us ~70# of that terrific honey every year. We are so fortunate to live in the land of milk & honey.
