Stud Males:
(Jubamba X Chirripo) DOB: 9-5-95 "Silver" is an outstanding male. He has superb conformation, with a flawless topline, stretchy neck and the easiest llama to groom that we have ever seen. Totally touchable, when he was 9 months old I trimmed his toenails without halter, lead-rope or any restraint. These are characteristics that he is passing to his offspring. His fiber has won Championships at Estes Park Wool Market and LOCC Fall Classic Llama Shows and he has placed well in every show he's been in.
Krakatoa
(LW Satellite X Gypsy Fire) DOB: 9-10-93 A volcanic 1/2 Bolivian male, from the East Fork Ranch breeding program. His dad is a full Bolivian paint from Llama Woods Farm and his mom is a beautiful gray bay w/a white blaze Grand Champion with strong stature and heavy bone. Krakatoa, a Champion and Reserve Grand Champion, is intelligent and gentle but bold, a successful breeder and a benevolent herd-sire who doesn't over dominate his pen-pals. He also seems to know better than the female if shes pregnant. We've used him for years to test the girls and he's never wrong. His offspring have sold well and been "show quality", many times improving on both the dam and himself in terms of fiber and conformation. His fiber tested at 24.6 (avg) microns, he's 42" at the withers and he is espresso brown (tips), w/black underneath, bay.
